Wisconsin town to install 85 parking kiosks

Motorists in La Crosse, Wisconsin will be required to pay for downtown parking under a plan to install 85 parking kiosks, according to a wizmnews.com report.

The kiosks will cost the city $850,000, which Mayor Mitch Reynolds said could be recovered in a couple of years. The annual fee for the kiosks will be $96,000.

Reynolds said the city incurred a $1.7 million deficit last year for parking.
