Waitrose expands NCR Atleos partnership

NCR Atleos Corporation, a self-service financial access solutions provider for financial institutions, retailers and consumers, has expanded its partnership with Waitrose, according to a press release.

As part of the deal, NCR Atleos announced a five-year agreement to provide Atleos' Cashzone Network ATMs in the John Lewis Partnership's Waitrose supermarkets across the United Kingdom.

The John Lewis Partnership operates John Lewis and Waitrose retail brands, and is the largest employee-owned business in the U.K.

"Atleos has been a trusted strategic teammate over the past decade," Andy Piggott, director of credit and banking at John Lewis Money, said in the release. "Brought together by our shared customer-first values, we have been able to innovate around cash access and provide customers with a simple, secure way to withdraw cash in store."

"Consumers expect to be able to access cash and financial services at trusted retailers," Diego Navarrete, EVP of global sales at Atleos, said in the release. "We are proud to team with leading retailers such as John Lewis Partnership to make this happen."
