Volkswagen has partnered with AirConsole, a videogame solutions developer, to provide in-car gaming experiences for the ID.7 Tourer along with other models.

Volkswagen has partnered with AirConsole, a videogame solutions developer, to provide in-car gaming experiences for the ID.7 Tourer along with other models, according to a press release.

The experience will be available for the following models:

• ID.7, ID.5, ID.4, ID.3 (from ID. software 4.0).
• The new Passat.
• The new Tiguan.
• The new Golf.
• The new Golf Estate.

The AirConsole software converts the car's infotainment display into a gaming console for passengers, with the user's smartphone serving as the controller.
