PolyAI, an enterprise voice assistant startup with a focus on call centers and voice-based customer service use cases, raised $50 million during its latest Series C funding round, led by Hedosophia Group Ltd., NVentures and Zen-desk, according to a report from Silicon Angle.
Other funding round participants included Khosla Ventures LLC, Georgian Capital Partners Corp., Point72 Ventures LLC, Sands Capital Management LLC and Passion Capital Investments LLP.
"Anyone who has ever picked up the phone to get support from their favorite brands has experienced the frustration of dealing with bad customer service," Nikola Mrkšić, co-founder and CEO at PolyAI, said in the report. "Our mission is to make every company the best version of itself in every customer interaction."
The company has raised $120 million in total funding.
