VEON, a global digital operator, has announced that its cloud and cybersecurity platform Garaj has partnered with Standard Chartered Bank in Pakistan, according to a press release.
Garaj is an enterprise solutions business of the Pakistan-based VEON subsidiary Jazz.
As part of the deal, Jazz will set up a regional availability zone for Standard Chartered Bank, also known as SCB, and will work to strengthen the bank's operational resilience and to enhance customer experience while hosting SCB IT and banking systems at Garaj's Tier 3 Data Center (which operates under Global TIA-942 standards).
"Our partnership with Standard Chartered Bank is expected to enhance operational resilience and ensure secure, uninterrupted services for its customers," Asif Aziz, president of Enterprise Solutions at Jazz Business, said in the release. "Our critical infrastructure and advanced cybersecurity solutions provide a robust foundation for our customers in financial services and underscore our commitment to reliability and innovation."
