Trend Micro, a cybersecurity firm, has launched Inline NDR, an in-network detection and response security tool. Designed to decrypt modern encryption techniques, Inline NDR is currently available using the Trend Vision One platform, a full-spectrum Security Operations Center platform.

Trend Micro, a cybersecurity firm, has launched Inline NDR, an in-network detection and response security tool, according to a press release.

Designed to decrypt modern encryption techniques, Inline NDR is currently available using the Trend Vision One platform, a full-spectrum Security Operations Center platform.

"Threat actors love unmanaged assets like routers, laptops, firewalls and even smart appliances – as these create the security blind spots from which to launch new attacks," Kevin Simzer, COO at Trend, said in the release. "That's why we offer something different from most XDR out there. Our network telemetry lets you know where your unmanaged assets are and what they're doing at all times, leaving attackers with nowhere to hide."
