Toyota to enable EVs to use Tesla charging connector

Toyota and Lexus will deploy the North American Charging Standard EV charging connector for new EVs in 2025 under an agreement between Toyota and Tesla, according to a wccbcharlotte.com report.

Toyota EV drivers will also be able to utilize Tesla supercharging stations.

Owners of Toyota EVs with the Combined Charging System will able to secure an adapter to use the NACS charging system.

More than 12,000 Tesla supercharging stations will be available in addition to the existing 84,000-plus charging ports Toyota EVs have access to in the U.S.
