Thai manufacturer expands robotic barista

Tao Bin, a Thailand manufacturer, has introduced its Smart Robotic Barista offering more than 180 freshly made choices, including multi-flavored drinks such as sodas, smoothies, protein shakes, coffee and tea, to Malaysia, according to a press release.

Consumers can adjust the sweetness level, ranging from no sugar to 100%.

The machine utilizes recyclable materials like polypropylene for all cups, lids, and straws.

It also collects real-time data on usage and ingredients, enabling precise optimization of operations to ensure that ingredients are consistently stocked and readily available.

Payment is made through e-wallets, including DuitNow QR, GrabPay, TnGo e-wallet and more.

The company deployed machines in the Klang Valley area in June 2023, with units already installed in locations such as Sunway College, Thomson Hospital, Mahsa University, Nottingham University, MITEC, Lalaport GMB, 3 Damansara, MyKart@Tropicana Gardens Mall, private offices and condominiums.
