Tangshan, China's robotics sector is expanding rapidly, with applications ranging from automated cooking and vending to industrial and emergency response. The city's Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone now hosts 200 robot-related companies, according to a press release.
Robotic chefs preparing diverse cuisines are being deployed, with future vending applications planned. "This is the future of dining, where technology meets tradition in the most delicious way," Wang Chengyong of Gaoshan Hebei Intelligent Technology Co., said in the release.
Companies like CITIC HIC Kaicheng Intelligence Equipment Co. produce robots for high-risk environments, including mining and emergency rescue. "The robots we produce can replace or assist humans in high-risk environments, significantly enhancing safety and efficiency," Wang Zhijiang said in the release.
This growth is driven by Tangshan's industrial chains and collaboration with Beijing and Tianjin, supported by facilities like the Robotic Shared Intelligent Manufacturing Factory.
