Swiss AI software startup issues call for ethical AI standards

Swiss AI software startup vidby, which provides AI-powered translation and dubbing solutions for 70 languages, has issued a call for a code of ethical AI in translations, according to a press release.

The company calls for development of a written, binding rules framework for all translation and dubbing services using AI as a core technology, including:

• The development of mission and values definitions for those who use AI instruments to this end.
• Anti-fake safety standards.
• The preservation of linguistic diversity.
• The prevention of discrimination of any kind.
