Satellite internet provider Starlink has expanded availability for Starlink Mini for select customers in the U.S., allowing customers to receive the dish model and roaming service without having to maintain a residential account, according to a report from Engadget.
Starlink now offers a mobile regional plan with unlimited data for $150 per month to eligible customers; by contrast, the Starlink Mini Roam rate is $50 per month and comes with 50GB of data, according to the report.
Users must still purchase a starter kit, which costs $599.
Meanwhile, Amazon's Project Kuiper announced delays at the end of June, according to a report from Bloomberg.
Amazon plans to launch its first satellites in Q4, instead of the original Q1 launch date that had been previously planned.
The tech giant said customer testing of the Kuiper satellite fleet is planned for early 2025, according to the report.
