Samsung announced it will debut hybrid refrigeration technology in 2025, according to The Verge, which involves leveraging traditional compressor-based cooling alongside a Peltier module.

The hybrid cooling will roll out in Samsung's RM80F23VM refrigerator sometime in the next year.

The Verge reports that Samsung credits hybrid cooling with creating more interior space in the refrigerator along with keeping food fresh for longer and reducing internal temperature variations in the fridge.
