Partner Tech USA intros hybrid POS/self-checkout kiosk

Partner Tech USA Inc., a provider of POS and self-service solutions, has introduced its Mini Bora Bora, a hybrid POS and self-checkout solution, according to a press release.

The unit is available for a Windows or Linux-based POS computer and features a 21.5-inch touch display, a thermal printer, a 2D barcode scanner and a geometrically shaped base that swivels around 270 degrees to accommodate both self-checkout and assisted checkout.

An optional intelligent LED tri-light pole indicates the status of the checkout lane and alerts staff when a customer needs help while a bracket allows merchants to use the payment terminal of their choice.
