Oregon offers kiosk for faster tax filing

Southern Oregon taxpayers can file returns at a computer kiosk in the Medford regional office of the state revenue department, according to a kobi5.com report.

The office is located at 3613 Aviation Way, Suite 102 in Medford and is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, closed for lunch between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The kiosk is free to use and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Taxpayers who e-file their returns and request a refund through direct deposit get refunds two weeks or sooner than those who file paper returns and request paper checks, according to the department.
