OnLogic, an industrial computer hardware manufacturer and solution provider, has launched its Tacton Series of rugged panel PCs and industrial touchscreen displays, according to a press release.

The modular product series includes the Tacton TC401, a rugged all-in-one panel PC with integrated AI acceleration capabilities and a range of customization options, along with the Tacton TN101 line of standalone displays that can be used in conjunction with other industrial or rugged computer models from OnLogic. Products are designed to be suitable for a range of industrial and digital signage use cases.

Both the TC401 and the TN101 offer 18 screen options, including three sizes, regular or high brightness, resistive or projected capacitive touch interface, IP66 or IP69K water and dust ingress protected front bezels, and the option of an integrated front-facing camera. Tacton Series displays are UV- and vibration-resistant, support wide range in operating temperature and input power, and are available with ignition sensing for in-vehicle installations. Features of the projected capacitive screens include 7H hardness, multi-touch support, optical bonding, and anti-water technology.

"The Tacton Series gives users the best of both worlds in an all-in-one touchscreen computer," David Zhu-Grant, product management lead at OnLogic, said in the release. "We heard from users that they needed a system that was highly configurable but didn't lock them into paying for features they didn't need. We took that input and designed a solution that can be customized to the unique requirements of a given project, is easy to install, and built to last. We're excited to see how innovators put Tacton Panel PCs to use empowering next generation edge solutions."
