Gravity, a New York-based EV charging tech startup, has launched universal charging stations that it calls "trees," according to a report from electrek.co.
The EV charging trees were developed in partnership with design firm Rangr Studio.
Gravity holds ambitions to build this into a charging network "more expansive than Tesla's current Supercharger network," according to a company statement quoted in the report.
Gravity launched a line of 500kW EV chargers in October 2023, and in March 2024 it launched its Manhattan-based Gravity Charging Center, which features 24 500kW EV chargers.
Gravity previously launched a fleet of Mustang Mach-E Yellow Cabs in New York City in 2021.
