Students at Mississippi State University in need of food, school supplies and hygiene products will be able to access these items free of charge from a vending machine at the Colvard Student Union, according to a report in The Reflector, the student newspaper.

All students need to do is swipe their student ID card on the glassfront machine and take what products they want.

The machine, bearing the words "Bully's Pantry," is located below the south staircase near Drill Field and is overseen by the Division of Student Affairs.

The Bully's Pantry building also allows students to receive free items by showing their ID card, such as canned goods and school supplies.

The Student Association will join The University of Southern Mississippi Student Government Association to gather donations for the pantries at both schools.

Donation boxes will be placed in residence halls, on Drill Field and at fraternity and sorority houses.
