Lower Saxony Minister President visits HMF to learn about 5G, Industry 4.0 infrastructure

Lower Saxony Minister President Stephan Weil has visited German firm HMF Smart Solutions, a 40-year specialist in digital communication solutions, to discuss 5G and Industry 4.0 infrastructure impact on Lower Saxony's economy and society with Matthias Klausing, CEO at HMF, and Martin Hucke, chief business officer at HMF, according to a press release.

"For the successful digitalisation of companies, 5G campus networks are a key factor," Klausing said in the release. "As an extremely powerful basis for Industry 4.0, among other things, 5G technology offers almost infinite possibilities to significantly increase production and efficiency of workflows — this can be a major competitive advantage."
