Louisiana power cooperative installs EV charging stations

DEMCO, a Greenwell Springs, Louisiana-based electric cooperative, has installed a Chargepoint EV charging station at each member service center across its seven-parish service area, according to an an17.com report.

The installations offer a service enhancement for DEMCO members and communities and are a component of the cooperative's research efforts, said David Latona, vice president of communications and governmental affairs at DEMCO. The organization is committed to adapting to the evolving energy landscape.
