LG launches commercial robotic vacuum for hotels, developed with Marriott Design Lab

LG Electronics USA has launched a commercial-grade robotic vacuum cleaner designed for the hospitality industry, according to a press release. Developed in collaboration with the Marriott Design Lab, the autonomous cleaner is now available for hotels, following successful pilot programs at Marriott International properties.

The LG Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is designed for cleaning corridors and meeting spaces, featuring LiDAR and Vision Fusion SLAM sensor technology for precise navigation. Its 3-liter dustbin handles large debris, and the device can be managed via a multi-language mobile app and cloud-based platform, allowing for real-time monitoring and data analysis.

"This is a prime example of how our collaboration with the Marriott Design Lab is advancing innovation for the entire industry," Michael Kosla, senior vice president, LG Electronics USA, said in the release. "The LG Robotic Vacuum Cleaner is a robust, user-friendly vacuum cleaning solution that hotel associates can operate, providing the best possible automated vacuum cleaning of floors in corridors and meeting spaces."

The collaboration with Marriott Design Lab, a research and development hub, aims to bring innovative technology to hotel operations, improving efficiency and guest experiences.
