The LG CLOi ServeBot robot has received the 2024 Red Dot "Best of the Best" Award, according to a press release.

Designed for restaurant, bars, and hospitality use cases, the mobile CLOi ServeBot features interactive digital signage in the form of its 10.1-inch, 1200x800 full-color touchscreen that can display digital menus along with a range of digital and custom content types, such as an animated face for the robot. The robot can operate for up to 11 hours per charge, supports custom floor plan programming with unlimited points of interest, and has four removable, adjustable shelves.

The robot previously received the Innovation Award at CES 2024 and was recognized as one of TIME's Best Inventions in 2022.

"CLOi humbly accepts this tremendous honor from the leading international design competition," Michael Kosla, SVP at LG Business Solutions USA, said in the release. "Complementing its unique award-winning design, the LG CLOi ServeBot has already set a new standard for the entire robot product category as the world's first commercial robot to receive UL certification for safe operation in consumer environments. Boasting impressive customization options, precise navigation and powerful battery life, the CLOi ServeBot has freed up valuable time for staffers to focus on developing relationships that create repeat customers."
