Lancey Energy Storage, an energy technology startup based in Grenoble, France, has announced its Pacabat concept for an energy-independent heatpump for HVAC, with aims to reducing users' energy costs, according to a press release.
The device will be designed as a battery-powered, energy-independent hybrid solar air-to-water heatpump.
"This DeepTech project is in line with the Lancey philosophy and is part of a range extension, helping individuals to improve their thermal comfort while accessing to self-consumption of renewable energies," Raphael Meyer, CEO and co-founder of Lancey Energy Storage, said in the release.
