Kiosk Information Systems Inc. has introduced its Kiosk Integration Exchange to allow third-party technology providers to integrate to its platform and make their capabilities available to its embedded base and/or new deployments, according to a press release.

The Exchange will be Kiosk Information Systems' main focus at the NRF '24, Jan. 14-16 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

By enabling capabilities to be utilized throughout the entire lifecycle of a kiosk fleet, one goal of the Exchange is to extend the usable life of purpose-built kiosk solutions, maximizing return on investment.

The platform allows technology providers to integrate new capabilities that support a wide array of use cases, giving the flexibility to adapt and stay ahead in an ever-changing market landscape.

The core of Exchange is its hardware integration module, providing adaptability and flexibility for applications on the platform. The module is designed to eliminate costly changes for integration or concerns about hardware.

Features include:

  • The virtual benchkit environment streamlines validation, ensuring a smooth development process for third-party developers.
  • The robust development tools allow developers to access API libraries, samples, software development kits and a knowledge base to support both developers and operators in creating unique self-service user experiences.
  • A Kiosk Solutions Marketplace offers a forum where companies can showcase and explore developed business solutions, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • The Exchange is launching with three pioneering partners:
  • The Incode Identity Verification and Biometric Authentication Platform allows companies to elevate security and unlock monetization opportunities for kiosk operators.
  • Vengo Labs for programmatic advertising enablement allows companies to monetize kiosks with programmatic advertising, expanding revenue streams and enhancing customer experiences.
  • The Compunetix Video Contact Center allows companies to transform customer interactions with video contact center capabilities, setting new standards for customer engagement.
