Invenda Group AG, a provider of automated retail technology, has teamed with Burroughs Inc., a service and integration provider for unattended self-service devices, payment and transaction automation, to provide access to Burroughs' support ranging from onsite maintenance repairs to remote monitoring and triage services.
"Self-service, automated retail owners and operators know better than most that everything breaks — and that downed machines translate to shrinking ROI," Mark Crandell, managing director of North America at Invenda, said in a press release. "Underpinning our leading software and hardware with Burroughs' unparalleled support services means that Invenda users will have the level of quality, efficient repair service they need to keep their devices running smoothly and their customers happy."
Invenda software measures critical information streams for each device, including machine health markers. Each Invenda platform dashboard enables users to monitor health markers like compressor temperature to flag and resolve issues before they affect machine functionality or customer experience.
Burroughs will now support all devices powered by the Invenda platform in the U.S. To access Burroughs services, Invenda platform customers simply follow the Invenda customer service pathways; Invenda customer services team members will automatically escalate issues to Burroughs when appropriate.
As the largest independent services provider in North America, Burroughs delivers comprehensive lifecycle management for the full range of payment and transaction automation, unattended self-service technology, robotic automation systems, and other connected IoT devices through our integrated Burroughs Digital Platform.
