IKEA has partnered with Swiss drone startup Verity to leverage drones for inventory management, according to Business Insider. The Swedish home goods supplier has more than 250 drones in service at 73 IKEA distribution centers in nine countries.

Business Insider reports that Verity's client list, which began with IKEA, has expanded to names like Maersk and Samsung Group.

"We wouldn't be here, where we are today, without their commitment to seeing this being an actual, working product," Raffaello D'Andrea, CEO and founder at Verity, said in an interview with Business Insider.
