iBase Technology Inc., a manufacturer of embedded motherboards and edge computers, launched the RM-M8MPL SMARC 2.1 module for industrial and embedded applications, according to a press release.

The system is powered by the NXP ARM i.MX 8M Plus QuadLite Cortex-A53 processor, and features include:

• NXP ARM i.MX 8M Plus QuadLite Cortex-A53 Processor.
• 3GB LPDDR4, 16GB eMMC on-board.
• Rich peripheral I/O support.
• Validated with Yocto 4.0 (sumo, kernel 5.4.70) / Android 11.
• Long-term supply with NXP solution.
• Compliant with SMARC 2.1.
• Wide-range operating temperature of -40°C~85°C (-40.0°F to 185.0°F).
