Humanoid robot maker raises $70 million

Figure, an AI startup that builds general-purpose humanoid robots, has raised $70 million from investors led by Parkway Venture Capital in its first external round, according to a Reuters report.

The funding will be used to accelerate the development and manufacturing of Figure's first autonomous humanoid, expected to launch in a few months.

The valuation of the company was not disclosed, but a source put the value at over $400 million.
