Google is launching its Pixel 9 phone with a new chip, the Tensor G4. The chip update allows expanded AI capabilities, according to Android Authority.

The chip uses ARM architecture, reports Android Authority, was designed in collaboration with Samsung, and is a follow-up to the Tensor G3 chip used last year by Google.

The chip makes the phone perform various tasks faster, including browsing and app loading.
