Georgia lawmakers consider allowing Narcan machines

Georgia lawmakers are considering a state law to make Narcan and other drugs more easily accessible, according to a fox5atlanta.com report.

HB 1035 would remove the requirement for prescriptions for Narcan and permit the sale of Narcan in vending machines, including college campuses.

Sponsor Sharon Cooper, a Republican, said the bill also allows for stronger opioid antidotes.
