An X (formerly Twitter) creator and maker has created a home automation terminal themed after the "Fallout" video game and television franchise, according to a report from Tom's Hardware.

Going by the handle Rick (@r1ckp), the user shared a retro-style computer terminal that leverages Raspberry Pi, a single board computer (a.k.a. SBC) platform, along with an LCD screen housed behind a Fresnel lens.

According to the report, the device functions as an interactive assistant by using OpenAI technology to control home automations like lights and music control, and the system uses a command line interface (CLI) in homage to the science fiction franchise.
