Emergent Vision Technologies, a pioneer in high-speed GigE Vision cameras and zero-copy and zero-loss vision technologies, has launched five cameras based on 100 Gigabit Ethernet (also known as 10GigE).

The debut includes three 100 GigE area scan cameras in the Zenith series, according to a release on the announcement:

  • HZ-12000-G (12.4MP Sony IMX926, up to 590fps).
  • HZ-14000-G (14MP Gpixel GSPRINT5514BSI, up to 670fps).
  • HZ-25000-G (24.47MP Sony IMX925, up to 394fps).

The launch also includes two 100 GigE line scan cameras for the Pinnacle series, the LZT-8KG5 and LZT-16KG5 models.

"In addition to these sensors supporting 100GigE speeds, they are also back-side illuminated sensors, which deliver higher [85%] quantum efficiency for greater sensitivities when leveraging ultra-high frame rates where exposures must be shorter," John Ilett, president and CTO at Emergent Vision Technologies, said in the release. "For systems integrators and end users today, this series comprises the fastest machine vision cameras in the market with zero-copy image transfer and guaranteed zero dropped frames."
