Cyngn, an autonomous vehicle tech developer, has announced its 20th U.S. patent, which covers a method to preserve accuracy of autonomous vehicle sensor data gathered during motion.
U.S. Patent No. 12,032,099 covers technology designed to optimize sensor data processing whilst integrating LiDAR and image tech; integrating this with other data, such as environmental data and real-time motion data, along with calculations for latency, the system generates a multiple-axis motion model and generates predictive positioning models.
"The granting of our 20th U.S. patent underscores Cyngn's ongoing commitment to advancing autonomous vehicle technologies," Lior Tal, chairman and CEO at Cyngn, said in a press release. "Following the 16 U.S. patents granted in 2023, this achievement reflects our team's commitment to building out a robust patent portfolio to protect our intellectual property."
