Curbit, a restaurant technology firm, has partnered with Chekt, a foodservice pickup solutions firm, to develop order pickup automation solutions, according to a press release.

The partnership integrates AI-powered real-time order status with smart food lockers by Chekt, including SMS status updates for customers.

The integrated systems have been implemented at Zippy's, a Hawaiian diner with locations in Oahu, Maui, Hawaii Island and Las Vegas.

"This partnership truly strengthens our shared ecosystem," Scott Siegel, co-founder and chief revenue officer at Curbit, said in the release. "Food lockers enhance the pick-up experience by providing a convenient option for order retrieval, promoting efficiency, reducing wait times and managing volume.
