Coca-Cola (CCE) has announced its partnership with Siemens Industry Automation (Siemens), a move that includes standardizing the automation and controls processes for Coca-Cola bottling and canning lines along with adopting Siemens automation technology, according to a report from GlobalData.

The partnership is designed to improve efficiency in production and is in the process of implementation across Europe, including the commissioning of a new 14.3 million (approximately $18,328,453.00) production line at Coca-Cola's Sidcup factory located in Kent in the United Kingdom.

According to the report, the Sidcup factory is leveraging Siemens automation technology. Its latest production line boasts capacity of up to 120,000 cans per hour.
