China supermarket installs self-checkout kiosks

Metro, a China-based supermarket, has introduced Telpo self-service kiosks in its stores, according to a press release.

The K7 Telpo kiosks feature multiple payment methods, including EFT, QR code and facial recognition.

The thermal printer features 80 millimeter paper width, 150 millimeter per second printing speed and an automated cutter.
