Boeing machinists were announced to be holding a contract vote related to their strike, which began nearly two months previously, according to a report from The Associated Press.

The vote will decide whether a Boeing offer will be accepted to end the strike by International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers members.

The latest Boeing offer includes pay raises of 38% over four years along with ratification and productivity bonuses, according to the report.

"It is time for our members to lock in these gains and confidently declare victory," district leaders said in a statement quoted by the report. "We believe asking members to stay on strike longer wouldn't be right as we have achieved so much success."
