Education technology startup Tomorrow's Education has received funding from Berlin and the EU totaling several million euros, according to a press release.

Founded in 2021 by Christian Rebernik and Thomas Funke to combat education shortfalls due to the pandemic, Tomorrow's Education is the first accredited remote-first university in Germany, with a mission to train students to drive society in a new era with emerging technology like AI changing paradigms.

The university has announced it is developing AI-based solutions to tailor learning experiences to the skillsets of individual students and to provide individualized learning experiences.

"Tomorrow's Education will primarily use the funds raised to further develop the technological basis of the learning platform, which will revolutionize learning," Christian Rebernik, CEO and co-founder at Tomorrow's University, said in the release. "We will continue to grow strongly and professionalize ourselves technologically.

"The acquisition of the funding fits perfectly into our growth strategy to include technology, to be able to serve infrastructure and the community in line with growth. At the same time, we would also like to thank the funding agency FörderProtech from Berlin, which supported us in a very targeted and, above all, successful manner during the application phase."
