Ball State University celebrates National Pizza Day with robotic pizza machine

To celebrate National Pizza Day, Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, is offering free pizza samples from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. from its new robotic pizza machine in the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center, according to a press release.

The Máka Mia Pizza machine prepares and cooks pizza in just 3.5 minutes.

The robot can prepare 12 different pizza styles, including pepperoni, sausage, cheese, veggie, supreme and cauliflower crust options starting at $12.50. Students can purchase ready-to-eat pizzas or take-and-bake refrigerated pizzas to enjoy later.

The machine is available during regular operating hours and accepts Dining Plus, Dining Cash, Cardinal Cash and credit and debit cards. hours.
