Bahamas digital cash provider intros payment kiosks

SunCash, a Nassau, Bahamas-based provider of digital cash solutions, has introduced a payment kiosk program in North Andros in the Out Islands of The Bahamas, having teamed with a local partner to man the kiosks, according to a report in The Tribune.

Sean Smith, business development manager, said the kiosks are designed to replace commercial bank branches that have been shuttering in the islands over the past decade.

Clients can move funds from their bank accounts to their SunCash account after having their know-your-customer profile approved, which allows them to deposit greater sums.

Recipients can sign up for a SunCash account and withdraw funds, whether it is money for salaries or to pay vendors.
