Ampersand introduces robotic coffee kiosk at DFW Airport

Fort Worth-based coffee brand Ampersand has launched an advanced robotic coffee kiosk, named Gizmo, at Dallas Fort Worth Airport's Terminal C, according toan International Communicaffe report. The debut on April 7th marks a collaboration with RobotLAB and Hestia Robotics, as reported by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The self-service kiosk offers 27 signature beverages, including coffee, matcha and tea with various flavor options. Customers can order and pay via a touchscreen, with Gizmo preparing the drinks and dispensing them through secure pickup windows accessed with a QR code.

Ampersand, which opened its DFW Airport location a year ago, has reportedly gained significant customer support, outperforming established competitors. The company also has plans to introduce autonomous robotic coffee delivery to airport gates by 2026.
