A3 names EVP Alex Shikany

The Association for Advancing Automation (also known as A3) has named Alex Shikany as EVP, according to a press release.

Shikany previously served as VP of membership and market intelligence, and he brings more than a decade of experience to the role.

"Over the past five years, we've doubled our team, established Automate as North America's leading annual robotics and automation event, and expanded internationally into Mexico and India," Jeff Burnstein, president at A3, said in the release. "With A3 in its strongest position ever, Alex's leadership in internal operations allows me to focus on long-term strategy, including partnerships, accelerating adoption of automation, and growing our global footprint."
